The Presbyterian Church on Edisto, 2164 Hwy. 174, Edisto
Chamber Music Charleston presents a
special concert in remembrance of the events of September
11, 2001 and to honor active and retired military, police,
fire and emergency service officers.
Musicians perform works for
wind octet as actor Clarence Felder recites poetry of
American poet Walt Whitman

Festival Opening Concert

Musicians of Chamber Music Charleston perform Mozart’s
Divertimento in D Major, Copland’s Appalachian Spring and
Brahms’ Serenade No. 1

Mozart in the South Festival Finale

Pack a picnic and join us for the festive Mozart In The
South Finale at historic Middleton Place. Music to be
performed includes Mozart’s Serenade in E Flat for Wind
Octet, Dvorak Slavonic Dances and Scenes from Gershwin’s
Porgy and Bess.

music to the intimate, historic Presbyterian Church on
Edisto in a four concert series.
This performance features “The
Art of the String Quartet” with musicians performing
Franck’s “Quartet in c minor” and Shostakovich’s “String
Quartet No. 1 in C Major”.
